Prachinburi province has some beautiful parkland, if a little difficult to get to. These provinces are reasonably quiet, although there are a few national parks to visit. The northwestern corner of Prachin Buri Province is part of Khao Yai National Park (see Nakorn Ratchasima), while Thap Lan National Park is about 30 km north of Kabinburi. The area really is untouched, with virtually no facilities at all. You can get camping permits from rangers at the park office in Thap Lan village, Na Di district. They can also organize trips around the park, but you have to arrange your own transport to the entrance. Pang Sida National Park is also worth visiting for Pang Sida and Na Pha Yai waterfalls close to the park office. Daeng Makha and Suan Man Suan Thong waterfalls are also worthwhile, even if they are harder to get to. (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.)
