Apatin city is the administrative, economic, cultural, educational and tourist center of the municipality of Apatin (333 km?). The population of the Apatin city is 19,289, while Apatin municipality has 32,793 inhabitants. The Municipality of Apatin is located on the left bank of the Danube river (natural border with Croatia), between the Municipality of Sombor (on the north) and Municipality of Od?aci (on the southeast).
